You know sweetie, I have only recently begun to be interested in abstract art and you are part of that blooming interest. I may have to try my hand at creating some some day. For now I can enjoy such works as this. It is beautiful.
I would LOVE to see you try your hand at it. I am in an in depth discussion on abstract art. The argument being basically "why is something like paint splatters considered art. Should someone who does not have formal training have the right to be called an artist" I say everyone has the human right to create. The world would be a truly sad place if only the people who could afford going to school be allowed to create art. Sorry about the rant
No problem, you can rant at me anytime. I gotta admit sometimes I do wonder at the things that are called art, but everyone has a right to express themselves artistically. (Or in whatever other way they choose that is not destructive to people, animals, or other's property.) Just because I do not care for something doesn't make it not art. If I don't like it I can just look elsewhere! And of course people without formal training can be called artists! If I teach myself to cook by shear trial and error does that make me not a cook?!
